Research Day
The department's annual Research Day showcases the wide range of original research conducted by our young investigators at all levels of training, along with the research conducted by medical students who participate in the institution's Medical Student Research Program (MSRP), providing a unique platform to encourage and foster their interest in research.
Research Day features morning oral presentations by fourth-year medical students in the Medical Student Research Program, morning poster sessions and a noon keynote address. Posters are judged by the department's Research Council faculty members, and following the keynote address, awards are presented for the best posters. Recipients of the department's research excellence awards are also presented at this time.
